Engineering Colleges Kerala Ranking

 I study in one of the engineering colleges in kerala and hence knows about most of the colleges in the state...I am quite sure about the ranking of govt engineering colleges but private engineering colleges i only present a qualitative report....

RANKING GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGES(Overall,refer my upcoming posts for faculty based,placement,infrastructure and academics based rankings)

1.              COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING TRIVANDRUM: Leads in almost all respects with the best feature being incredible placements.

2.               T K M COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, KOLLAM :50 year old college which stands just behind CET.However in terms of academics(consistent university ranks) and reputation(huge number of successful alumni around the globe) it is as par with CET.Best feature being the incredible and experienced faculty.Most of the faculty here are trained in the IITs or Top universities of the country.

                 GOVT ENGINEERING COLLEGE,TRISSUR:Old and established college with good faculty and placements.Best feature being the wonderful and vast campus and the incredible alumni.


                 MODEL ENGINEERING COLLEGE,ERNAKULAM:Though being a relatively newer college but with the sincere effort of its management stands in shoulder with the old established colleges.Best feature being wonderful placements and industry institute relationship.In terms of industry institute relation in may be regarded as the best in the state.

5.               M A COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING,KOTHAMANGALAM:Old and established college.Best feature being the strict academic environment and a beautiful campus.College also has got a wonderful faculty team,one of the best in the state.

                  R I T KOTTAYAM:Though being a newer college, it has established itself as a top technical institute in the state.Best feature being the huge infrastructure and a greenish campus.

7.               S C T  COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING,TRIVANDRUM:The college is best known for its good academics and placements.It has got one of the best infrastructure for studying mechanical engineering in the state.
 
                  N S S COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, PALAKKAD:Old and established college with a wonderful campus and good placements.

 9.              GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE,BARTON HILL:An excellant and rising engineering college.Its infrastructure is being upgraded at a rapid rate and its best feature is its potential to rise in rankings in near future.

10.               COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING,CHENGANOOR:A newer college but has an excellent academic track record.Best feature being its incredible placements.

Among the PRIVATE ENGINEERING COLLEGES : RAJAGIRI defenitely takes the top spot. SCMS ,TOC H, MES ,MAR BASELIOUS, FISAT and SAHRADAYA are the top colleges.
